Hi, and thanks for visiting my fundraising site.
In January 2009, I will be taking part in a 14 day charity motorbike rally through Southern India to raise money for four fantastic charities. The challenge is to complete a gruelling route of 2000km, riding from 'dawn 'til dusk' over mountains, across hot arid plains, through dense forest trails and into hectic towns taking in some of the most demanding terrain in the region.
I need to raise a minimum of £4995, both through my own efforts and hopefully the donations of others. I have personally paid all of the costs to take part in the trip, so rest assured, every penny donated will go to the four nominated charities.

To make things more interesting, we won't exactly be using what you could call state of the art machinery. The bike of choice is the infamous Royal Enfield Bullet. They stopped making these in the UK about 40 years ago, but they are still built in Madras today based on the 1950's British design. |

Charity Poker Tournament (with great knockout bounty prizes !)
We will be holding a Charity Poker Tournament in the cardroom of the Circus Casino in Edinburgh, starting at 12.30pm on Saturday 29th November. The format is a £20 rebuy no-limit holdem tournament. 35% of the entrance fees will go to the nominated charities, the other 65% will be used for the tournament prizes.
